This school year, we have had exceptional students around our campus who are making a change and following our school spirit. This year, we would like to celebrate the students below because of their hard work, perseverance, and dedication as students.
Rodrigo Ramirez (12) – We would like to spotlight this student because he has been an exceptional leader for our school community; he is part of PLUS (Peer Leaders Uniting Students) and has consistently met with new students for their orientations. We wish him the best in the future and hope that he continues to be the great leader he is!
Yasmin Esquer (10) – We would like to spotlight this student because of her exceptional job as the president of the Franklin SkillsUSA chapter; she has raised over 140 gifts, which she donated to St. Joseph’s Hospital, making it the first-ever toy drive at Franklin High School. Because of this achievement, she was recognized by the SUSD School Board. She participated in the SUSD Occupational Olympics in the job interview category, finishing in second place. Esquer is an excellent public speaker with high academic achievement; we wish her the best and hope for great opportunities to come her way!

Maurisio has made an impact, bringing students a voice and representation. He has also overcome some hard obstacles, which could have held him back, but he has continued to grow and lead. We wish him the best of luck at college and hope for more achievements in his way!
