The SOS program is about letting parents and students know that they are there for them and the parent coffee hour is to help parents know more about their kids and to prevent their kids from showing signs of suicide . They also help out foreign parents and students about the school, etc. Once a week they talk to the foreign students to see if they need help with maybe their classes( homework, translating, understanding,)etc.
The parent coffee hour is held on school campuses either before school or after. The ones who present them are the councilors in charge of the assistance of the program, manager, etc.they plan them each beginning of school year before the school year starts. All schools go over the program district wide.if parents need more help about their kids or school they are more then welcome to help them out more.
