Rosaline Hernandez joined the Franklin High School community in May 2023 as school Librarian, bringing with her a wealth of experience and enthusiasm. As the FHS library’s new leader, Hernandez faced the challenge of making the library functional and entertaining for all the students, a task she tackled head-on.
Before arriving at FHS, Hernandez worked at the city of Stockton Public Library. She also attended three colleges, including Carrington College and Humphreys University, where she did her undergraduate studies. She is currently attending San Jose State University, pursuing her Masters of Library and Information Science.
Hernandez said she wants the library to be a fun and helpful place. She wants to host tutoring sessions and clubs like book clubs and anime clubs. She also wants to show students how to use digital tools like Sora, Databases, and Destiny Discover. Her main goal is to make the library a place where students can learn and have fun.
With Hernandez’s hard work and innovative ideas, she is making the FHS library a better place for all the students.
